- Session 87: Kristofer devise a new plan: the Wayravens will provide distraction so that Adikia, Kiris and Arc can slip through and investigate Korvin’s hideout.
- Session 87: Kristofer’s distraction requires him to destroy the walls and let the Shadow Knight army inside. The Wayravens will defend the Darkcastle Mound.
- Session 87: Kristofer’s plan hinges on the party retrieving the Arcanus Labyrinthus so that they can activate the Darkcastle Mound’s portal sanctum. Kristofer calculates that the Wayravens can defend the castle for four days.
- Session 89: Kristofer tells Arc that he has set the portal room’s teleportation spell. Arc tells Adikia that he will accompany the first batch of Wayravens who will be teleported out of Darkcastle Mound.
- Session 89: The first batch, consisting of Arc and most of the Wayravens, teleport out of the Darkcastle Mound.
- Session 89: Kiris, Adikia, Kristofer, Kirren, Leneia, Michaela, Elix and the remaining members of the Wayravens enter the portal room and teleport out of Darkcastle Mound.
- Session 90: Splix casts the magic channeling in his Ymerald Staff on top of the Chained Devil. Arc and twelve Knights of the Wayraven emerge from the space, surprising the Chained Devil. The devils are defeated.
- Session 90: Arc notices that the Knights of the Wayraven are in a weakened state.
- Session 90: Splix casts another spell near him. Kiris, Adikia, Kristofer, Kirren, Leneia, Michaela, a wounded Elix, and six Wayravens teleport to the empty space.

- Session 12: Kirren also reveals that their dead father, Kristofer, is the Lord Knight Acquermann of the Wayravens.
- Session 41: The Shadow Knight bestows Theobald a Shadow Sigil resembling that of Kiris’s sigil. The Knights of the Wayraven are revealed to inhabit the Plane of Shadows.
Kiris shows the Shadow Knight his sigil. “That sigil belongs to the Wayravens, masters from the Material Realm who holds dominion over the Plane of Shadows.”
- Session 42: Kiris asks Kirren about the Shadow Sigil. Kirren claims that she does not know about it other than that it looks familiar to the Wayravens’ sigil.
- Session 72: Kirren pulls Kiris aside. Kirren confesses that she was never offered the leadership of theWayravens; actually, Kirren was never accepted into the secret organization. Kirren hid this fact due to her resentment with her and Kiris’s father, but Kirren tells Kiris that she now understands her path in life: to lead the people of Yvernus.
- Session 72: Kirren persuades Kiris to test if he will be accepted by the Wayravens. Kiris agrees.

- Session 72: Kiris agrees. The voices induct Kiris into the Knights of the Wayraven.
“Kiris, son of Kristofer, you are now a Knight of the Wayraven. Walk the path of darkness, and lead the world unto the light of Akenatun.”
- Session 72: The secret door opens to a treasure room of the Wayravens. They grab a blight spell scroll, an unidentified spell scroll, and a Necklace of Prayer Beads. The necklace contains one aquamarine, two black pearls, and two topazes.
- Session 81: Kiris asks Korvin what he will do with Kristofer. Korvin replies that he will do anything to stop the Knights of the Wayraven even if it means killing his own brother. Korvin adds that the Wayravens’ absence is due to him sieging Kristofer’s domain.
- Session 81: Adikia enters the conversation and asks if he would need to kill the Acquermann Clan in order to kill the Wayravens and their Lordknight. Korvin replies:
“Make no mistake, being a Lordknight is not inherited through blood. So if no one takes the mantle, then there would be no killing.”
- Session 81: Korvin also adds, with disdain, that he will not be the Wayravens’ Lordknight.
- Session 85: The party enter the gatehouse and escape the Shadow Knights’ assault. They meet seven battle-worn Knights of the Wayraven who are dejected and tired.
- Session 85: The Wayravens’ captain introduces himself as Rudyard.Rudyard remembers Kirren and reminisces a time before the war.
- Session 85: Rudyard sends a knight to fetch Kristofer Acquermann. He explains that the Knights of the Wayraven have been defending the Darkcastle Mound for twelve years. Kristofer Acquermann has led the defense.
- Session 85: As they are walking towards the castle, Kristofer tells the party that Korvin, who was once banished, ended in Shadowfell. Kristofer and the Wayravens defeat Korvin, and Kristofer decided to reside in Darkcastle Mound.
- Session 85: Kristofer confesses that in order to make his plan foolproof, Kristofer destroyed the Magus Labyrinthus. This drastic action makes the binding permanent on the castle’s end. But the artifact also enables the castle’s portal sanctum; this means that Kristofer has no way to teleport out of Shadowfell. He hides this fact from the Wayravens in order to not weaken their morale.
