Revelations, Part 2

Hideout Raid

• Adikia scouts the hideout and finds three guards. On a separate room, a blond elvish woman is wielding a bloodied Aureate Rapier. The dead bodies of three Dusk Talons lie on the floor.
• Theobald, Thoradin, Adeena, Noah, Kiris and Adikia assault the hideout. Theobald casts Silence and Kiris banishes one of the guards. Noah, Thoradin, Adeena and Adikia finish the other two guards.
• During the encounter, they see Arc sneaking into the hideout. Adeena realizes that the place is Kayriel’s hideout.
• The party defeats the blond elf. Theobald snatches the Aureate Rapier and hands it to Adikia. Thoradin puts the elf in manacles and gags her to stop her from casting a spell.
• Adikia realizes that the elf is using illusion magic to hide her true self. Adikia realizes that the elf is an Eladrin.
• Adeena checks the a room, which turns out to be Kayriel’s makeshift office. She retrieves a framed image of Kayvan.
• The party decides to travel to Ankyra’s Old Castle Compound to put the blond elf in a cell.

Arc’s Memories

• The night before, Arc leaves the party to pursue a memory. He remembers a hideout in Midkip. Arc scours Midkip in search of the hideout.
• Arc finds a rock covering a secret entrance. He instinctively finds a button and opens it.
• Arc enters the hideout and finds the party assaulting the three guards.
• Arc remembers the blond elf the party has captured; however, he cannot recall his ties with her.

Interrogation

• Thoradin carries the blond elf on a steed, and the party follows him to Ankyra’s Old Castle Compound.
• The party restrains the blond elf inside a cell. Kirren and Michaela join them to inquire about the elf.
• Adikia calls Remus and Mitarella, informing the former that the Aureate Rapier has been retrieved.
• Adikia telepathically talks with the blond elf. The elf identifies herself as Vanayra, an Eladrin who was humiliated in a duel by Adikia.
• Adikia asks Vanayra about Feypeak. Vanayra answers that while she is an Eladrin, she does not know how to open a portal from Kippian to the Feywild. Vanayra claims that she is native to Sumber, and only knows how to get to Feywild from there.
• Vanayra taunts Adikia. Vanayra claims, with proof, that she and her allies killed Idril and Poldo, Adikia’s adoptive parents. Vanayra implicates Arc in the deed.
• Arc remembers that he and Moon did criminal acts for the blond elf.
• Adikia assaults Vanayra; Adeena and Thoradin restrains Adikia.
• Thoradin and Theobald escort Adikia out of the prison. Kiris continues the interrogation.
• Kiris learns that Vanayra is a spy for The Cult of Miledu. Vanayra, like Kayriel, is spying on Sumber’s political elite.
• Kiris asks about Kariil. Vanayra mentions that he is the son of Korvin Acquermann, and is the inheritor of Acquermann Clan’s legacy. Kiris claims that he is the rightful heir to the Acquermann Clan’s legacy.
• Kiris also learns the dispute between members of The Cult of Miledu. Vanayra tells Kiris that it is but a distraction.
• Kiris bluffs Vanayra, telling her that the party knows the location of The Cult of Miledu, their end goal, and how to stop them. Vanayra is surprised, but she maintains that the party is just too late to stop the cult. Kiris exits the cell and talks with the party.
