Instead of a verbal communication, the contacted beings answer through visions. Moreover, the visions project in front of Splix, allowing the party to see Splix’s visions.
The first vision shows two artifacts held by Zagi and Spekid. The party determine that one of the artifacts is the Arcanus Labyrinthus, while the other one is a spherical version of it.
Splix finds traces of the Ymerald Staff on the spherical artifact; he concludes that a way out might involve using the Ymerald Staff’s latent power.
The vision responds that the artifact is not inside the Labyrinthus.
Splix asks how to get to a certain location from within the Hall of Akenatun using the location’s sigils.
The vision shows Spekid and Zagi poring over tomes. Splix reads the plane shift spell on the spellbook. Zagi and Spekid try to imbue the plane shift spell onto the inert Arcanus Labyrinthus.
The vision focuses on the gem as Zagi casts the teleportation spell, and Zagi teleports to the location of the spherical version of the Arcanus Labyrinthus.
Splix asks about the location of the spherical artifact.
The vision shows Zagi giving the spherical artifact to a member of the Acquermann Clan.
Kiris figures out that the vision happened at the Shadowfell castle he once saw in his vision.
