Leneia’s Apology

Leneia and Laurie arrive in Ankyra’s Old Castle Compound. Kiris and Kirren meet them.
Kirren apprehends Leneia about her allegiance to The Cult of Miledu. Leneia apologizes to Kirren.
Leneia divulges that she freed Roldan. However, it was Roldan who killed Gokare, Shemance and Armand in the catacombs of the Grand Cathedral. Leneia claims that she was tempted by Roldan, and she was powerless to stop him.
Leneia learned through Roldan that she is the child of King Riordan and Janna Furwish.
Kirren decides to lock up Leneia and Laurie. Leneia asks them about the dragon they saw earlier; she tells them that the party needs help from the fight.
As the captain of the guards are taking Leneia, Leneia warns Kiris about Adikia. Kiris ignores her.
Kiris heads out to follow the party. He meets them just outside the Ankyra’s Old Castle Compound.
Kiris and the party talk about what happened to them. The party decides to take a well-deserved rest.

A servant of Mitarella and Remus approaches the party. He tells them that they are required by Mitarella.
The servant leads them near the carriages, where Mitarella, Remus, Michaela and Kirren are preparing to leave. Mitarella asks the party to go with them to Ironfleet Compound. The party rides a carriage.
While inside the carriage, Adikia takes a sip of the potion she bought earlier. This causes her to have a psychedelic trip. Adikia resumes back to her normal state once they near Ironfleet Compound.
Mitarella, Remus, Michaela, Kirren and the party beeline to the dining hall. Present inside the hall are Gandour, Nos-Aji, Olrac, Flavius, Kayvan, Professor Embersense, Professor Aufel, Fiamil, and Dello. The dining hall doors and windows are closed shut.
Mitarella reveals that the meeting is about planning the assault against The Cult of Miledu.

Mitarella shares that Remus, Michaela, Kayvan and Kirren will lead the evacuation effort. The evacuation is to be scheduled one day before the assault.

The assault will be overseen by Mitarella.
An offensive assault on Yvernus will be headed by the Wycroft Gladiators. The United Kippian Military will stay on the ground and act as a defensive force.

Mitarella asks the party to infiltrate Yvernus and defeat The Cult of Miledu. The party obliges.
Gandour will take the party to Yvernus using the Bloated Dragon.
Severino, Nos-Aji and Olrac will serve as distraction for the party.
Michaela and Kirren will serve as backup, if capable.
Professor Aufel, Dello, Professor Embersense, and Fiamil will provide intelligence support and assistance to the party.
To coordinate the assault, the scholars will use Telepathic Bond spell scrolls on the appointed persons.

Mitarella asks the party if they want to consider bringing some of the prisoners during their infiltration. The party wants to interrogate Leneia and Janna first before they decide on the matter.

Mitarella tells the party that the assault will happen this week. The final day will be decided tomorrow (16th of Zagi).

Thoradin talks to Flavius about the Wycroft Gladiators’ readiness in the ensuing assault. Flavius assures him that the 500 gladiators under his command are itching for a fight.

Adeena goes to the chapel to seek guidance from her patron, Aulephi. Adeena asks for forgiveness for the deeds she might do during the ensuing battle.
Before leaving, Adeena hears a familiar voice:

Child, you cannot ask for forgiveness for a sin that you haven’t done.

Theobald asks Mitarella about his concern: the attack lacks prior intelligence. Mitarella assures Theobald that the surprise is enough to justify the attack.
Mitarella tells Theobald that a flight of dragons will probably defend Yvernus. Mitarella is willing to sacrifice everything just so the party can complete their task.
Theobald leaves and Kiris approaches Mitarella.
Kiris asks Mitarella about the Plane of Shadows. Mitarella asks Kiris back if he has consulted Kirren. Mitarella assures him that Kirren surely knows more than her. However, Mitarella adds that the Acquermann Clan gains its power from the Plane of Shadows. This means that their power did not come from Akenatun; The All-creator only appropriated it.

Adikia asks the scholars, minus Fiamil, about teleportation into the Plane of Shadows. The scholars say that they have not fully deciphered the sigils. That is mainly the reason why they want to accompany the party during their infiltration.
Adikia asks about the teleportation circle inside the Labyrinthus. Adikia suggests to use it as an evacuation camp. Professor Embersense says that there are many risks if civilians use it. However, it can hold a small number of individuals.
Adikia also asked about the portal to Feywild. Professor Embersense mentions that the next portal opens on the 14th of Spekid, during the Winter Solstice. The portal’s location in Ephelus will be directly underneath the moon.
As Adikia leaves the scholars, she sees Splix having a moment with Fiamil.
