Head-on Assault

Gather Up!

The party gathers near the teleportation circles.
The party takes a brief rest. Adeena dons her armor. The others recuperate. Kiris gives Splix the blight spell scroll and the unidentified spell scroll. Splix casts identify on the spell scroll, and determines that the contact other plane spell is scribed onto the spell scroll.
Professor Aufel casts telepathic bond on himself, Gandour, Nos-Aji, Kirren, Professor Embersense, Flavius, Splix and Noah.
The assault and infiltration parties discuss strategy. Gandour remains near the airship. Nos-Aji’s and Kirren’s parties will distract the enemies and protect the party’s flanks.
The party’s main goal is to escort the scholars to the Temple of The Sealed Path.

A building collapses in front of the party. Adeena jumps across the wreckage using momentum from the Evershift.
The party crosses a fissure caused by acid. Arc spots several Wycroft Gladiators wounded from battle.
Theobald heals the wounded Wycroft Gladiators and encourages them to fight.
The party encounters, and eventually defeats, a white dragon.
As the party nears the Temple of The Sealed Path, they are contacted by Nos-Aji that he saw Kayvan fighting near the party’s location. Noah, Adeena and Kiris stay back to find Kayvan, while the others escort the scholars into the stairs leading to the Temple of The Sealed Path.

Noah, Adeena and Kiris find Kayvan and other Wycroft Gladiators fighting a red dragon. The party manages to save Kayvan and two Wycroft Gladiators from the dragon.
Kiris reprimands Kayvan for his reckless decision. Kiris waits for Kirren to fetch Kayvan, while Adeena and Noah head to the Temple of The Sealed Path.

Arc, Adikia, Splix, Theobald, Thoradin and the scholars enter the concealed entryway that the party used before. Three blue wyrmlings attempt to ambush them, but fails.
The three wyrmlings attack Noah and Adeena who are at the base of the stairs leading to the temple.
During the combat, Noah sees an apparition of Amlaena. The apparition helps Noah rain down a shower of arrows toward the wyrmlings.
After defeating the wyrmlings, Kiris, Noah and Adeena ascend the stairs and head inside the concealed entryway. A red dragon blasts concentrated fire at the party. The three members of the party remain unscathed, but the entryway caves in from the attack.
